Dr. Zoltan Gyongyosi is a specialist in anesthesiology and intensive care. He graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Debrecen and obtained his board certification in anesthesiology and intensive care in 2009. Between 2003 and 2024, he worked at the Clinical Center of the University of Debrecen as an anesthesiologist and intensive care specialist. In 2023, he earned his PhD at the Doctoral School of Neurosciences of the University of Debrecen.

In his clinical work, he has focused on ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and perioperative pain management. He has performed central port implantations and, in collaboration with neurosurgeons, venous catheter placements for intracranial shunt systems at the University of Debrecen.

He later turned his focus toward the treatment of chronic pain and completed further training in this field, including Pain School International, and participated in international congresses and training programs of the World Institute of Pain. During his education and professional development, he was trained and mentored by leading experts such as Agnes Stogicza, Andrea Trescot, Harold Cordner, Edit Racz, Aaron Kenneth Calodney, Peter Staats, Mark Hurdle, and Miles Day.
