About

Balazs Rakoczi is a psychologist, integrative hypnotherapist, and holotropic breathwork facilitator who combines classical psychological approaches with modern, experiential, and altered state–oriented methods. He obtained his psychology degree at Eotvos Lorand University (ELTE), and later continued his studies as an organizational development psychologist at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME).

His therapeutic approach is grounded in several internationally recognized trainings: he is qualified as an integrative hypnotherapist, a holotropic breathwork facilitator, and has training in psychedelic therapy and research. His work focuses on supporting deep self-exploration and healing processes through altered states of consciousness.

During his professional career, he has worked in clinical settings, including the National Institute of Medical Rehabilitation, where he was involved in the rehabilitation of patients with traumatic brain injuries. He has also been active for many years in organizational development. He is currently the founder of the Semmelweis Psychology Center and the professional director of the Oltalom Social Institution.

In his work, he strives to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients can gain deeper self-awareness and achieve lasting change in their lives.
