About
Dr. Adrien Racz graduated summa cum laude in 2013 from the Faculty of Medicine at Semmelweis University in Budapest. She completed her general neurosurgical training at the National Institute of Clinical Neurosciences (now: Semmelweis University – Department of Neurosurgery and Neurointervention), where she gained extensive experience in complex pain management with a strong neurosurgical perspective.
As a national referral center, the institute provided her with broad clinical exposure to patients from across the country suffering from acute, chronic, and complex pain syndromes. Her experience ranges from minimally invasive interventions to surgical procedures and chemical or physical neuromodulation techniques for pain therapy.
As a Fellow of the internationally renowned Pain School International (PSI), she obtained the internationally recognized Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) certification.
In 2023, she successfully passed the written examination of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS).
Between 2024 and 2026, she completed several international specialized training programmes focusing on uniportal endoscopic spine surgery techniques.
Her primary field of expertise includes the treatment of spinal pain and limb pain caused by disc herniation or spinal stenosis (e.g., sciatica), as well as sensory disturbances and muscle weakness. She offers a wide spectrum of minimally invasive treatments, ranging from epidural nerve blocks and catheter-based epidurolysis (adhesiolysis and anti-inflammatory treatment), through regenerative spinal therapies (PRP, stem cell therapy), to endoscopic lumbar disc removal and endoscopic decompression of spinal canal stenosis. Due to the minimally invasive nature of these advanced surgical techniques, procedures are performed without general anesthesia and within a same-day surgery setting.
