Case: Severe knee pain, CRPS
Treatment: Cryoablation and PRP
Physician: Dr. Agnes Stogicza
Physiotherapist, Manual Therapist: Anikó Demeter
Time Period: 2023-2024

Kata came to her first consultation in a wheelchair due to severe knee pain, after undergoing physical therapy, steroid injections, and over six months of searching within the healthcare system. She was diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) and was unable to stand. Following her first cryoablation (nerve freezing) and PRP  treatment performed by Dr Stogicza she began walking cautiously with crutches under the guidance of her physiotherapist (Anikó Demeter). After 2 more PRP treatments she was walking alone, without crutches and we received a video with the comment “Doctor, I am walking!!”. Since then she returned to soccer, her favorite sport.

We thank Kata for her perseverance, hard work, and the shared success we achieved together.

After the third treatment, I am walking completely pain-free. Dr. Kristóf Rácz is an excellent, empathetic, and knowledgeable physician, and the clinic staff are attentive and helpful. Case: Post-COVID loss of smell
Treatment: Stellate ganglion block (SGB)
Physicians: Dr. Agnes Stogicza, Dr. Kristof Racz
Date: December 21, 2023

“I am happy to report that I am experiencing significant improvement—my phantosmia has resolved, and I no longer perceive phantom smells. In addition, after three years, I can finally detect more subtle, clean, perfume-like scents, instead of everything being masked by an unpleasant odor. This is an incredible improvement in quality of life, as I even felt that I myself smelled bad for months.

Although I notice the greatest improvement in my sense of smell, my sense of taste has also changed. Several previously unpleasant tastes have ‘softened’ and become enjoyable.

Encouraged by these positive results, I would like to undergo the procedure on the other side as well.”

I am grateful to the Doctor and thank her for giving part of my life back. I wish you good health, much success, and many more grateful patients! I hope you continue healing people for a long time—and the later we meet again, the better!”

“At the first session, I received PRP and prolotherapy for my neck and shoulder. During the following four sessions, I received prolotherapy. It was somewhat painful.

There was no improvement after the first treatment, but after the second, I already felt better. Following the third treatment, I felt much better. I am now at home and can carry out household tasks more easily. It still hurts, but there has been significant improvement.

The doctor is a very conscientious, intelligent, and kind physician, who clearly explained the treatments, their costs, and the expected results from the very first consultation. She is highly skilled at what she does and truly enjoys her work. The staff is also kind and helpful. We need more doctors and teams like the ones here.”

„Excellent! 5 stars!

I think that  clear post-surgery guide would be important to increase the already very high standard of care at the Clinic. As far as I can see, the Gasser Ganglion Ablation is relatively new and unknown. Such a guide would be very helpful to patients.”

Luke Kearns (42)

Case: Stiffness and soreness in neck on and off for 10 years – after multiple swnowbord accicents
Treatment:
PRP-therapy
Physician: Dr. Agnes Stogicza
Date: 2023. 09.07.

“I have had three rounds of PRP therapy. The first two surgeries were pain free as I was sedated. The recovery after the first one was very painful and uncomfortable for 4 weeks. The recovery after the second round was much easier.

The first PRP round made the pain more tolerable. The second round enabled me to sit down properly (although still with some discomfort) and meant I could be more active with my daughter. It made my work day much more tolerable too, as I could function better without as much dizziness and pain. The range and movement of my neck also improved week by week, coupled with the manual therapy that was recommended.

I have been extremely happy with my treating physician, who I have a 100% confidence in. The support staff have also been very attendant and professional, which is important to me. I have felt like they are invested in my case, and I am grateful for their care and attention.”
